Synthetics
A true solution
synthetic fluid will be clear with a particle size of less than 0.000001mm (0.00000004"). It will be an excellent coolant but will have no
lubricity. It will typically have hard water tolerance.
A surface
active synthetic fluid will be translucent to clear. It will contain wetting
agents, which lower the surface tension of the fluid and enhance the lubricity.
It will have good rust inhibiting properties, and although it will have
a tendency to foam, this should not present a major concern.

TRIM® 229 Straight Chemical Concentrate

TRIM® 229 is a synthetic coolant concentrate. It delivers maximum chemical rust protection on ferrous materials with no residual film and at the lowest possible cost. 229 is often used in surface grinding where maximum cooling and minimum foam are desirable. 229 is also used in other situations including: water tables on plasma torches, leak detection dip tanks, abrasive cut off machines, and water jet cutting systems.

TRIM® 9106 Cutting and Grinding Fluid Concentrate

TRIM® 9106 is a clear, virtually odourless, synthetic coolant with excellent heat dissipating and corrosion inhibiting qualities. 9106 is recommended for grinding operations on cast iron, aluminum and steels. 9106 will not form ammonia when grinding cast iron. 9106 allows graphite to float, and prevents swarf from clinkering when grinding cast iron. 9106 contains no sulphur, phosphorus, chlorine or other halogens.

TRIM® C120 CG Carbide Grinding Fluid

TRIM® C120CG was designed specifically for the carbide grinding industry. New features of this new product include low foam, superior sump life, low odor, and improved resistance to cobalt leaching. This fluid will not be stripped out by conventional filtration systems. C120CG is a synthetic product intended for grinding carbide as well as ceramics, cermets, chill cast alloys and tool steels.
FEATURES:
C120CG's formulation is based on modern MWF chemistry
- Minimizes cobalt leaching while maintaining superior cutting and noncutting characteristics
- Does not attack wheel bonding systems

C120CG is not classified as hazardous under the new CHIP 3 Regulations.

TRIM® C270 is designed to have the superior cooling and chip settling characteristics of a premium synthetic product with the improved residues and mechanical lubricity of a semi-synthetic coolant. This product utilises an extremely effective and proprietary non-chlorine, non-sulphur extreme pressure additive for good tool life and improved surface finishes
