COMPLETE PRODUCT PACKAGE FOR TOOL GRINDING INCLUDES A NEW OIL
For many years Master Chemical Europe has supplied carbide tooling manufacturers with its TRIM® C120CG water-based metalworking fluid. Now, with the introduction of a new neat grinding oil for carbide, the company is able to provide a comprehensive grinding product package for this sector. The new TRIM® OG108 is formulated to meet the requirements of all carbide and HSS tool grinding operations.
TRIM OG108 is top quality product that uses a highly refined hydro-cracked base oil to ensure high flash point and very low levels of mist. This low viscosity oil provides excellent detergency, keeping grinding wheels clean and allowing chips to be efficiently flushed away from the process. This, together with excellent workpiece cooling ensures minimal burning throughout the grinding process.
Kind to machine components, wheel bonding elastomers and operators, TRIM OG108 is chlorine and sulphur-free, is water clear in appearance and is virtually odourless. This oil does not leach cobalt and has excellent oxidation stability giving it a long and stable service life. TRIM OG108 is available in 204 litre drums, 1000 litre IBCs or in bulk quantities.
Another characteristic of this new introduction is its superior filterability and to maximise its potential in this regard Master Chemical also offers its Clean Tower mobile filtration system. This compact and inexpensive product is able to purify TRIM OG108 down to three microns.
